Lydia was awarded a Scholarship to study songwriting and performance at the highly acclaimed Leeds Conservatoire. It was here that she was signed by Norman Cook's record label 'Southern Fried Records' as the front woman of indie/electronic band ‘Rochelle’.

After being introduced to the award winning composer and producer, Lex Shellard, the duo began working together under the name 'Kalahara’. Performing live at Glastonbury, collaborating with other artists, the duo now lean towards the creation of cinematic sound - writing custom music for advertisements, TV and Hollywood film trailers.

Alongside her own work as a solo artist, Lydia has worked as a session vocalist and been a member of the 5 piece vintage close harmony girl group ‘Elle and the Pocketbelles’, performing for clients such as Google, Selfridges, Ray-Ban and The Ritz.

Lydia's latest project has been a collaboration with producer Nadeem Daya, writing music for West One Music Group. Her first solo body of work ‘Seventh Sense’, created with producer and Grammy award winning mastering engineer, Lewis Hopkin is out now.
